The Verdejo grapes are grown on stoney clay and limestone soils., before being hand picked and fermented with their natural yeasts, with 3 months spent in it's lees. No sulphur is added.
The result is a well rounded, complex white that has pronounced honeyed and floral notes with an underlying savoury, bready taste from the lees ageing.
Bodegas Menade is a family run vineyard based a kilometre away from the town of Rueda. They put nature at the heart of what they do and produce some amazing natural and organic wines. All grapes are certified organic and only natural yeasts are used.
