Ah-Ma’s was founded by Anita Cheung. Settling firmly between her Cantonese upbringing and multicultural British home, Anita wanted to steer away from the Cantonese food that is peppered with msg and artificial colourings to bring to the masses the kind of cooking she experienced at home, incorporating the delicate balancing of fresh and light with punchy and flavourful.

Ah Ma's believe adhering to ethically sound and sustainable standards compliment excellent quality, taste and experience. As such, dishes are handmade from scratch using locally-sourced, minimum free range or organic produce from the South West where possible, ethical producers and companies are supported, and packaging used is made from renewable resources, and is compostable, biodegradable or easily recyclable.
